Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar, Ryan Paevey, Mario Lopez and more are part of this year’s holiday lineup.
It may only be October, but Great American Christmas is already on the calendar. Great American Media has announced 18 new holiday movies for 2026, beginning with A Second Chance Christmas on October 8 on Great American Pure Flix and October 10 on Great American Family and GFAM+. The final new premiere, Christmas Wrapped in Love, arrives December 17 and December 19, respectively.
There are familiar faces throughout the season. Candace Cameron Bure stars in two films, while Danica McKellar, Cameron Mathison and Ryan Paevey each appear in two. The stories range from second chances and family traditions to an Arctic adventure, a Christmas tree farm and a library full of ornaments with stories to tell.

A few stories that caught our eye
Book lovers have two especially tempting premises. The Christmas Yes List, starring Danica McKellar and Sam Page, follows a woman who returns home determined to start saying yes to herself. Then there’s The Christmas Ornament Library, with Merritt Patterson and Ryan Paevey as a librarian and reporter uncovering the family stories behind a collection of ornaments.
For a different kind of holiday setting, Jill Wagner and Cameron Mathison’s A Very Arctic Christmas sends its characters on a Christmas cruise that takes an unexpected turn. An Ozark Mountain Christmas heads to the Ozarks, while A Very Evergreen Christmas brings childhood friends back together at a Christmas tree farm.
Thanksgiving weekend is particularly full, with A Sweet Christmas Anniversary, A Christmas Rescue and The Greatest Christmas Gift airing on Great American Family across three consecutive days. That gives us a royal mystery, a pet adoption event and a Christmas wedding to choose from. Or, more realistically, three movies to watch.
Which movie are you putting on your calendar first? We’ll be keeping an eye on the trailers and sharing more as the season gets closer.
